Good evening, criminals!

I'm in phone call limbo hell right now, but, I had a few minutes to get these guys cleaned up for everybody. They deserve a little better than chicken scratch sketches I made between county FOIA requests.

Thank fellow backers TwinkieStarr and Kim Lackey for these ones - the Aussie and shar pei have joined the DOG CRIMES roster!


Sometimes one of you guys buys a sponsor tier, and immediately calms any nerves I have because your idea is genuinely so fucking good. Let me tell you, I haven't felt the sheer, juvenile joy that "can you draw shar pei wrinkles in the CRIMES style" gave me, in ages. Probably since the weed skunk, honestly.

Sorry to the Aussie enjoyers, your calculating dinner-stealer is cute too. But this wrinkled beast... he's perfect.

  • The CONSPIRACY POODLE unlocks at $5.9k. We're not too far off, and I expect to get here, even if it's just in the last 48 hours.

  • Our DOG CRIMES final stretch goal is a backer vote at $9k.

Now, let's be real. I'm used to my campaigns doing a few more numbers than this. I ain't mad, it's mid year, we launched mid week, and the world is functionally on fire right now. However, I would love DOG CRIMES to not be my lowest funding campaign ever.

We missed the backer vote tier because of funding issues on CHALLENGE COIN CRITTERS. But, substantially lower down in the funding journey, I think we can reach $9k this time.

I want to hear YOUR IDEAS for our $9k backer vote dogs.

I will add the funniest and most fitting options to a poll at the 5-day mark of the campaign. Then, it's up to you and your filthy, horrible peers to figure out who's gonna come out top dog.

I want YOU to comment with:
  • A purebred dog and crime.
  • No doodles, designer breeds, or wild dogs. Don't worry... they'll get their turn soon. :)
  • Try not to repeat crimes that are already used - dupes from BIRD CRIMES or CRITTER CRIMES are fine!
  • Make it an actual crime - don't go gentle.

Good evening, criminals!

We are officially in the mid campaign slump. If you don't do BackerKit, did you know, most campaigns do the majority of their funding in the first 48, and last 24, hours?

It's all fun and games going "aw nice look what we unlocked!"

It's time to buckle down, though. The honeymoon period is over. And we gotta start shaking it up to get some eyes on DOG CRIMES.

Our two CREATE A CRIMINAL backers have spoken up:

Not gonna beat around the bush, I am fighting for my life behind the scenes, and these two look a little rough around the edges right now. I want to give an extra thanks to these two backers for being patient with me, and settling for sketches today.

I might be radio silent tomorrow. I am being called to testify in a court case, and, no, before you ask, it wasn't my crime (this time). I have both tomorrow and Thursday where I will be wearing an ironed shirt for once and take my Cuban chains off for a metal detector. Unfortunate. I'm OK, but, I need to be present and be ready for anything

I'm not sure what to expect or how long things will take, so, out of an abundance of caution, I am spending today getting time-sensitive work on CHALLENGE COIN CRITTERS done.

I'll do a nicer announcement for you guys when the Aussie and Shar Pei are cleaned up. But, they are sponsor pins: both the AUSSIE and SHAR PEI pins are available to ALL BACKERS, starting now!

Good afternoon, criminals!

I hope you guys like vinyl stickers: every single one of you, reading this, will be getting the 4" sticker sheet FREE with your pledge!


This sticker sheet's also an addon, but, our $4.5k goal means every backer will get one free of charge. Not bad for 48 hours!

Where to next? Well, we're about $300 away from the LITTLE WHITE DOGS.


Our 11th dog, a backer vote, is at $9k. DOG CRIMES is just over halfway through its planned stretch goals. We, will, most likely, be getting there in the remaining 13 days of this little circus.

Two of our three CREATE A CRIMINAL tiers have been snagged by backers. I'd be dropping some hints about what ruffians they're bringing to the roster, but, I haven't heard back from either backer yet. Well, eventually. Probably the next couple of days. I'm finishing this up and then I'm going back to the C3 mines.

Good afternoon, gang!

Quickie before I run to finish C3's grading and final pre-fulfillment update: you guys got the ROTTWEILER late last night, and the GERMAN SHEPHERD while I was at work today.



We're about $400 from the free 4" sticker sheet for every backer. Then, after that, it's off to the $5k LITTLE WHITE DOGS.


Off to the mines. I'll see you when we get the next dog.

Good evening, criminals!

Haven't heard "criminals" in a while, huh? It's good to be back.

After 2 hours of cook time on the BackerKit burner, DOG CRIMES is funded.


Not just that: while I was at work processing possibly the worst customer service fiasco of my day-job career, you guys got a stretch goal! The DISTURBING THE PEACE HOUNDS are also set to go.


I'm writing this at about 11 PM, and we're sitting at $3,100. You'll probably be reading this later.

Our next stretch goal, RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT ROTTWEILER, is about $200 away. We're definitely moving a little slower than past campaigns - with the economy the way it is, I'm not surprised - but, I wonder if we can get there by the morning.


Last thing before I go back to the QA mines for CHALLENGE COIN CRITTERS: another artist pointed out that we were missing our $5.9k goal. The $5.9k CONSPIRACY POODLE is now, properly, on the campaign page.
